list the countryside bridges repair in to the Special reconstruction project.
Municipal government will support this project with 2500 RMB/m². The bridges
need to be repaired are the bridges with hidden danger and the bridges which
are not match with the roads in the Bridge inspection 2011. The country roads
after repair will reach the National secondary road standard, and the bridges
will reach the National level 3 bridge standard.

New maintenance technology will save 400 million RMB each year in Chongqing
Under the promotion of the Chongqing road maintenance center, the first case of "Hot in place Recycling truck used in highway maintenance” demonstration was held in Banan district last month. From now on, 400 million RMB will be saved each year in road maintenance.
Hot In-place Recycling truck looks like a train with 5 “carriages”; they are powder distributor, tank truck, Emulsified asphalt tank car, Cold material reclaimer and road roller. This maintenance truck will finish the pavement rehabilitation when it passing by the pavement. According to the description of Mr. He, the project director, doctoral tutor of Chongqing University of Communications, this “train” will firstly soften the old asphalt and recycle, and then mix the old asphalt with additive, and pave the new material on the highway. “We used to spend two day in paving one kilometer, but now only takes one hour.” He said. “Road maintenance cost in Chongqing each year is more than 1.5 billion RMB, the use of hot regeneration technology can save maintenance cost by 400 million.”
Transportation Investment for China's 12th Five-Year Plan
For the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015), China’s transportation infrastructure investment will be approximately CNY6.2 trillion. As of this year (2012), its 4.5 million km road network is expected to handle 40 billion passenger-kilometers and 30 billion tons of freight transportation.
Transportation Infrastructure Investment in the 12th Five-Year Plan Increased by 31.9%
Mr. Sun Guoqing, Director-General of the Department of Comprehensive Planning, Ministry of Transport, said that in the 12th Five-Year Plan, the transportation infrastructure investment is about CNY6.2 trillion, an increase of 31.9% over the 11th Five-Year Plan. The majority of the funds will be used in highway construction.
The 11th Five-Year Plan saw an increase in the scale of transportation infrastructure, especially when the central government introduced the policy of speeding up infrastructure construction in response to the international financial crisis. During the 11th Five-Year Plan, the country invested about CNY4.7 trillion in infrastructure, 2.5-times greater than that of the preceding 10th Five-Year Plan, making the total road network 3.98 million kilometers.
Sun stated, “Though the investment scale in the 12th Five-Year Plan is higher compared to that in the 11th Five-Year Plan, the actual growth rate has decreased drastically. This is in accordance with the country’s development requirements, adhering to the rule of ‘appropriate advancement’ for construction planning.”
Total Highway Mileage Reaches 108,000 km
According to plan, the scale of the country’s highway network continues to expand in the 12th Five-Year Plan. The total road mileage is to reach 4.5 million kilometers, and the total mileage of highways is to reach108,000 km, connecting more than 90% towns and cities with populations over 200,000 people.
In terms of water transportation, a rationally laid-out, highly efficient, safe and environmentally friendly modern port system is to be established. The number of deep water berths in the coastal ports is to reach 2,214; and the ratio of port handling capacity to actual throughput is to reach 1.1. In terms of civil aviation, in an initial phase an airport system with a rational layout, that is fully functional, well structured, safe and highly efficient is to be established. The number of airports is to exceed 230, easing the current saturation problem in large airports. Regarding the postal service, a universal postal service system is to be set up, covering both urban and rural areas. The service is expected to benefit the entire population and have a standard for sustainable development. The total number of universal postal service offices is to reach 62,000.
Accordingtothe 12th Five-Year Plan, containers and bulk cargo, water-to-rail and river-to-sea joint transportation will be developed faster. All eligible villages, towns and 92% of administrative villages will be connected by buses, fulfilling the goal of transportation integration for eligible urban and rural areas. The average travelling speed of the national highway is to increase to 60 km/h, civil flight punctuality rate is to exceed 80%, and on-time delivery rate of postage and express services are to reach 85%.
In terms of safety and emergency response, in the 12th Five-Year Plan, the basic highway emergency response system is to be completed, and the emergency response control and dispatch capability is to significantly increase. Road reopening time for a general disaster is to be less than 24 hours, and the emergency rescue response time is to be less than 2 hours. Water transportation safety and emergency response are to reach improved levels. Airplanes should be able to reachmain coastal waters that are 100 nautical miles away from shore in less than 90 minutes.

Environmental Protection Pavement Coating Material
After 3 years research and experiment, Asphalt experts in Qingdao China
successfully developed a new asphalt pavement coating
material called JBS-C environmental protection pavement coating material,
which is specialized for repairing the small cracks and the loose asphalt
pavement.
The main ingredients of JBS-C are the modified and emulsified petroleum
pitch, SBS and EPS mixer, to add on petroleum heavy liquid, high sulfur carbon
and high polymer latex, the mixer become oil-in-water emulsion under the
coupling reaction. Finally mix with inorganic silicon calcium wear-resisting
material and elasticity grinding resistance aggregates. JBS-C not only has the function
of repairing small cracks and waterproof, but also has the function of melting
snow and noise reduction.
After applying this coating on the pavement, the material will permeate
into the cracks (within 10mm
depth, 3mm wide) as
the adhesive and form a kind of irregular space mesh structure on top of road
surface to stop the pavement from loosing and the spreading of cracks. Also
stop the rain and fuel oil eroding.

Esun’s Mid-Year Meeting 2012
was held in Hiyet Oriental Hotel 21st July. Our General Manager Ms.
Niu gave us the inspiring opening speech and representatives of each department
reported their previous work. It was such a good opportunity to review what we
did last two quarters and plan for the rest of the year. There several big
events happened the last six month, the big progress of the crack sealant
R&D, took part in France INTERMAT, rename our company, developed new
markets and some other achievement. At the end of this meeting, our president
Amy Ni shared her own experience about how to be a good person and how to run a
business. In 2012, Esun will never stop the pace of progress.

honors and small pay.
Next,
there are those who do the right thing only when necessity kicks them from
behind, and these get indifference instead of honors and a pittance for pay.
This
kind spends most of its time polishing a bench with a hard-luck story.
Then,
still lower down in the scale than this, we have fellow who will not do the
right thing even when some one goes along to show him how and stays to see that
he does it; he is always out of job, and receives the contempt he deserves,
unless he happens to have a rich Pa, in which case Destiny patiently awaits
around a corner with a stuffed club.

I read an amazing story “A
MASSAGE TO GARCIA”; it is about a great man call Rowan. During the
Spanish-American War, America Present gave him a mission: deliver a letter to
Garcia. “Rowan took the letter and did not ask, "Where is he at?"”
This is not only a letter,
but all the hopes and the future of America .
He left after four days
and three weeks later, he was gone through the danger area and the letter was delivered
to General Garcia.
This Legendary story spread
world wide for Rowan’s loyalty, dedication and diligence.
For me, I am impressed by
his Execution Capability. He finished his “mission impossible”
perfectly. What is execution? Execution is “to do it now”. There is an old Chinese saying that “Success is 30% Decision-making
plus 70% Execution Capability”. In our daily work we are all in the process of
execution. An excellent employee is a brave “soldier”
to accomplish all the orders.
Many people will find an
excuse instead of to action when they are facing the task; some of the people
have to be told at least twice before action; and some of them even you run
after him, to tell him what to do and watch him, he will still not doing things
right.
Therefore, an excellent
employee should be obedient and loyal. We see our company management as the military
management, military can not live without “training”. Training to know about what
is right and what is wrong; what to do and what not to do and to learn
different skills and transfer all into action. Only if we are well-trained, we
can be a strong "army" and to keep our competitiveness!

Esun’s Crack Sealing Technology
Water is the most destructive element to pavement. When cracks occurred on
the pavement, surface water will infiltrate into the
pavement, reduced the adhesiveness of the asphalt. On the other hand, the water
in the binder course will transfer into high water pressure under the car load.
As time passes, surface course will come off in scales or layers. Cracksealing
technology fractures to stop water from entering the base course will lengthen
the pavement life by 3 to 5 years.
A proactive crack sealing approach is therefore the best solution in
order to avoid expensive maintenance and eventual pavement reconstruction.
Cracksealing is the process of creating a flexible, waterproof seal, in
and over a crack or joint to stop water and road debris from entering the crack
and causing further damage. The material used is a hot-applied polymer modified
asphalt sealant which is flexible enough to allow for expansion and contraction
of the pavement.
USING THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT is a significant part of any crack
sealing project. There are two major steps: crack grooving and sealant
application. Cracks have to be cleaned before grooving. Surface preparation can
be accomplished with a crackrouter and a hotair lance. In simple terms a heat lance uses hot, compressed air that
blows cracks clean while drying them out. Cutting the crack allows enough
sealant expansion and contraction. The reservoir also ensures that the proper
amount of sealant penetrates the crack. Esun crack routers can follow even the most random
pavement cracks with the crack indicator. Once the grooved is complete, simply
use compressed air to remove the dust created by the router.
Our crack sealingmachine configured melting tank with a recirculation heating system and 45
degree downward burner chamber along with oil-jacketed tank allows high heating
efficiency without coking sealant.
Considering of different elements which will affect the cracksealing
result, such as outside air temperature, wind velocity, humidity and direct sun,
it is necessary to choose the right sealant. CIMARY is a hot applied crack sealant of high
performance, consisting of synthetic polymer, recycled rubber, asphalt cement,
and other modifiers. The waterproof gel is solid at room temperature, and melt
into super-stretchable and adhesive liquid through heating. It can seal cracks
and joints in the pavement efficiently, quickly and lastingly. There are four types
of
CIMARY Crack Sealant adapt to different areas (see below).

Speech Contest of Company Culture and Product Introduction
In order to improve our presentation skills and have better
understanding of our company and products, 16th June, 12 contestants
from our sales team took part in the “Introduction of EsunHeavy Industry” Speech Contest. As a salesman, it is important to have good
presentation skills to convince our customers to purchase our products.
As the audience of this Contest, I was impressed by all the contestants
with their professional and passion. To sum up this event, I think a good presenter
should consider the following points:
Identify the Audience
Identifying who are the audiences and what are their aims. If your
opening remarks imply that you understand their problem and that you have a solution,
then they will be flattered at your attention and attentive to your every word.
The Eyes
The eyes are said to be the key to the soul and are therefore the first
and most effective weapon in convincing the audience of your honesty, openness
and confidence in the objectives of your presentation. During the presentation
you should use this to enhance your rapport with the audience by establishing
eye contact with each and every member of the audience as often as possible.
The Voice
After the eyes comes the voice. In front of an audience you have to make
sure that your words are not being misunderstood. The simple advice is to slow
down and to take your time. Remember the audience is constrained by good
manners not to interrupt you so there is no need to maintain a constant flow of
sound. A monotone speech is boring, so it is important to try to vary the pitch
and speed of your presentation.
Expression
The audiences watch your face. If you are looking listless or distracted
then they will be listless and distracted; if you are smiling, they will be
wondering why and listen to find out. In normal conversation your meaning is
enhanced by facial reinforcement. Thus in a speech you must compensate both for
stage nerves and for the distance between yourself and the audience. The
message is quite simply: make sure that your facial expressions are natural,
only more so.
Stance
When you are on stage, your stance and posture will convey a great deal
about you. The least you must do is make sure your stance does not convey
boredom. The perennial problem is what to do with your hands. These must not
wave aimlessly through the air, or fiddle constantly with a pen, or (worst of
all visually) juggle change in your trouser pockets. The key is to keep your hands
still, except when used in unison with your speech.
Jokes
The set piece joke can work very well, but it can also lead to disaster.
You must choose a joke which is apt, and one which will not offend any member
of the audience. This advice tends to rule out all racist, sexist or generally
rude jokes. If this seems to rule out all the jokes you can think of, then you
should avoid jokes in a speech. Amusing asides are also useful in maintaining
the attention of the audience, and for relieving the tension of the speech. If
this comes naturally to you, then it is a useful tool for pacing your delivery
to allow periods of relaxation in between your sign-posted major points.
Relaxation
If you get nervous just before the show, either concentrate on controlling
your breathing or welcome the extra adrenaline. The good news is that the
audience will never notice your nerves nearly as much as you think. Similarly,
if you dry-up in the middle - smile, look at your notes, and take your time.

Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the
Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to
the Chinese calendar. For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by
eating zong zi (glutinous rice wrapped to form a pyramid using bamboo or reed
leaves) and racing dragon boats.
The festival is best known for its
dragon-boat races, especially in the southern provinces where there are many
rivers and lakes. This regatta commemorates the death of Qu Yuan, an honest
minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river.
Qu was
a minister of the State of Chu situated in
present-day Hunan and Hubei provinces, during the Warring States
Period (475-221BC). He was upright, loyal and highly esteemed for his wise
counsel that brought peace and prosperity to the state. However, when a
dishonest and corrupt prince vilified Qu, he was disgraced and dismissed from
office. Realizing that the country was now in the hands of evil and corrupt
officials, Qu grabbed a large stone and leapt into the Miluo River
on the fifth day of the fifth month. Nearby fishermen rushed over to try and
save him but were unable to even recover his body. Thereafter, the state
declined and was eventually conquered by the State of Qin .
The
people of Chu who mourned the death of Qu
threw rice into the river to feed his ghost every year on the fifth day of the
fifth month. But one year, the spirit of Qu appeared and told the mourners that
a huge reptile in the river had stolen the rice. The spirit then advised them
to wrap the rice in silk and bind it with five different-colored threads before
tossing it into the river.
During the Duanwu Festival, a glutinous
rice pudding called zong zi is eaten to symbolize the rice offerings to Qu.
Ingredients such as beans, lotus seeds, chestnuts, pork fat and the golden yolk
of a salted duck egg are often added to the glutinous rice. The pudding is then
wrapped with bamboo leaves, bound with a kind of raffia and boiled in salt
water for hours.
A wooden dragon head is attached at the
bow, and a dragon tail at the stern. A banner hoisted on a pole is also
fastened at the stern and the hull is decorated with red, green and blue scales
edged in gold. In the center of the boat is a canopied shrine behind which the
drummers, gong beaters and cymbal players are seated to set the pace for the
paddlers. There are also men positioned at the bow to set off firecrackers,
toss rice into the water and pretend to be looking for Qu. All of the noise and
pageantry creates an atmosphere of gaiety and excitement for the participants
and spectators alike. The races are held among different clans, villages and
organizations, and the winners are awarded medals, banners, jugs of wine and
festive meals.

Philanthropy benefits the donor as much as the recipient
Zhongshan,
who is named after a great figure in Chinese
history Sun Yat-sen, is a well known City for its beautiful living environment
and charity industry.
At
the beginning of this year, Esun got news for Zhongshan Children's Welfare Institution that, there is shortage of baby supplies.
Words spread within the company, in a few days, we collected over CNY 9,000 of
donation.
15 staffs represented ESUN visited the children in Zhongshan Children's Welfare Institution with all the donations and our love.
“It
was an extraordinary experience, they are angels.” said our R&D Manager, Michael
Xiao, “There were many tears and hugs. The caretakers give these kids all the
attention they can and treat them like their own children.”

here they don’t know who their parents are, but I also feel happy for them

emotional to visit these kids and now we know how lucky we are.”

ourselves into the social welfare. Esun donate to build Hope
Primary Schools in China , so that more children in poor
regions are able to go to school; we were helping the people who were suffering
from floods and earthquake; and we financial support a Tsinghua student to
finish his college. We are doing these, because there is a belief in our mind, “Gratitude
is double happiness because it blesses both the giver and the recipient.”
